SALES REPRESENTATIVE

Position: Sales Representative
Reporting to: Commercial Manager
Closing date: 25 April 2024

The main responsibilities of a Sales Representative revolve around the ability to network, build relationships with clients, and persuade others to purchase products. Also to gain revenue for the client online offering through onboarding of client’s service points.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED FOR THE POSITION:

  • Matric
  • Min 3-5 years’ experience in sales.
  • Proven executive sales abilities.
  • South African citizen.
  • Clear criminal record.
    •Own reliable transport.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Generate leads and follow up with prospects through our tools,
    technologies, and lists.
  • Arrange and coordinate meetings with clients and prospective clients.
  • Update client databases and maintain a personal log of your contacts.
  • Hit minimum weekly, monthly, annual productivity and sales goals.

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:

  • Be knowledgeable about the product
  • Identify prospective customers, lead generation and conversion
  • Contact new and existing customers to discuss needs
  • Emphasize the features of products to highlight how they solve customer problems
  • Answer questions about the products
  • Negotiate prices and terms and prepare sales agreements
  • Collaborate with colleagues in many different sectors
  • Maintain contact lists and follow up with customers to continue relationships
  • Ability to operate in a team
    •Problem solving skills
    •Computer literate (ms office at an advanced level)
    •Ability to communicate at all levels and strong interpersonal skills
    •Good planning and organizing skills
